Corner Deli - Albany

Always great food, soups and salads. Michelle is a wizard and somehow remembers not only everyone's name but also their go-to sandwich order. If you don't know what you're in the mood for, you can't go wrong with a Mama's Favorite sandwich and on Wednesdays the Buffalo Chicken Soup.

I feel I got ripped off. Ordered a corned beef sandwich and the meat to bread ratio was horrible. There was very little meat and I paid a pretty penny. Needless to say, I won't come back here. I would have been better off throwing my money in a dumpster at least then I could have had a chance at getting it back.

The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I tried Mama's favorite dish and enjoyed some homemade chocolate chip cookies, which were delightful.

I was very disappointed with the portion size of the sandwich. I've never had a sandwich with so little meat. The dressing and bread were fantastic, but the corned beef was lacking. I was really hoping to discover a great place to eat, but it looks like my search will have to continue. Maybe this was just a one-time mistake?
