I highly recommend stopping by for a roll. We enjoyed the first two so much that we had to order more to try other kinds. The owner was also very friendly.

Alaska is stunningly beautiful, and Denali is an absolute must-se... read more I have visited over 19 national parks, and without a doubt, this one ranks among the top five! Alaska is stunningly beautiful, and Denali is an absolute must-see. If you can only visit one park, I highly recommend Denali. The mountains and open landscapes remind me of New Zealand, with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, flowing rivers, and pristine lakes. Plus, it's much more accessible than Wrangell or Gates of the Arctic, which I also recommend. Personally, I hiked to the summit of Alpine Savage, which offers spectacular views of the park and, if you're fortunate with the weather, Mount Denali as well. The best time to visit is from late May to early July—unless you enjoy freezing temperatures! Overall, it’s a fantastic national park, and I’m grateful to have it as part of our natural heritage.
