Th... read more I 've bought a speciality confectionery from 'PASTRY CHEF ' for my wife 's birthday. Before I say anything about cake I should say something about the owner. The guy is a beast.! He was a pastry chef himself in one of the most esteemed kitchens in the world for more than 20 years. That craftsmanship is quite evident in his work. It 's really hard to find a guy like him these days who is passionate and pays attention to even the most minor details. He can continue to be if we are a little appreciative. Believe me we need people like him! Now the cake: The cake was airy and spongy, the icing creamy and yummy. Evenly moderately balanced sweetness. The combination literally melts in your mouth. Its magical! You will never find a better cake in Alleppey. The chef was a complete success when it comes to the idea conveyed in the appearance of a cake. Expensive but I can guarantee that you will be utterly satisfied.
