It wasn't so great that it was okay. sizzler sauce was not perfect had usually tasted of fish sauce. would have been better to replace pasta with cooked vegetab... read more It wasn't so great that it was okay. sizzler sauce was not perfect had usually tasted of fish sauce. would have been better to replace pasta with cooked vegetables and carrots for authenticity. the hunch was not tender to overcook. French pommes were the only good ones. was not happy with the service was very slow, okay to be covered, but in this case did not feel like customer appreciated. Moreover, they had no plates to offer the sizzler in the regular other restaurants extra cutlery. overall was not a sign.

Unfortunately,... read more After visiting my restaurant, I think I have to give them a few feedback I ordered the mixed seafood fried rice, cooler garnel and grilled fish. Unfortunately, I could not find much mixed seafood, it seemed to be just garnish and fish and felt like the fish was salted. When the food arrived, I had to start denying the fly, to the luck was the menu on the table left, so I could use this as a fan to throw away the fly. during the guided tour of a restaurant, the focus on hygiene is very important, and I would not expect that I look especially and try to help fly with. Overall, I am very disappointed by my experience with food and hygiene standards, as eating in a beach restaurant should be a pleasant experience while enjoying my vacation.

Grilled fish was pricey for the quantity. But other than that everything seems to be outstanding. We also had tea, watermelon and orange juice. Overall a nice experience.

We sampled some delicious appetizers such as chicken popcorn and potato wedges, as well as a refreshing green salad. The chicken badiya, a grilled chicken dish served with naan and salad, was flavorful and satisfying. However, we were not impressed with the grilled fish, which was overly oily and smothered in a garlicky chili sauce. On the drink front, we were impressed with the freshly squeezed orange juice. Surprisingly, Cafe Catamaran does not serve beef, but they do offer a good selection of vegetarian options, including continental and pizza dishes - a rarity in the area. Although the service was a bit slow, the stunning views more than made up for it. Overall, despite a few hiccups with the food, we would recommend visiting Cafe Catamaran for a leisurely dining experience away from the beach crowds, while still enjoying the beautiful sea views.

It's a wonderful place to chill out, plus the cuisine is delicious. They offer a variety of Indian, Arabian, and Western dishes, including plenty of vegetarian options.

We had the garlic lemon shrimp pasta and the vegetable pizza. Both were served with plenty of olives, which were not on the menu (and we hate olives), and the pasta came with lots of extra vegetables, which we would have preferred to have done without. Otherwise, the food was average, but we have eaten much better on our trip to India.

Right from the moment you sit, facing the sea, the winds from the east will greet you much before the waiter comes into handover a beautifully hand-drawn menu which features some of the best continental dishes ever to have been served in Alappuzha. Be it a serene holiday or a talk with your favourite people over a cup of coffee, I am so certain you wouldn 't find a place as tranquil as 'Cafe Catamaran '. Tip- Always take a book when you visit this place alone, you wouldn 't feel like leaving, trust me.
