Pata Larga - Alandroal

This is a great tapas bar in the middle of the village where everything is prepared freshly in the open kitchen. Wonderful welcome from the owners and villagers alike, and the house wine is particularly good.

Pleasant surprise! Small restaurant, very well decorated, always playing typical music from Alentejo (not to load, one could talk). Food was great, we had the soap fish and fried river fish, all very well done. For appetizers we had tried the seasoning butter that was excellent with ultra thin-cut toasted bread! The olives were very well seasoned too. Definitely a place to repeat!

We stumbled across this restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The food and ambience exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed a fabulous meal of traditional and authentic Portuguese fare. Small seating area adjoining open kitchen. If you are in the area go out of your way to eat here.

Stopped for snack No idea on menu and no prices up Ordered prawns omelet with water n 2 bowls of ice cream €32!!!! Felt a bit unwelcome definitely felt we paid 'special ' prices Still out of the heat on a vv hot day Wouldnt recommend

Depois de um agradável passeio de barco pelo Guadiana esperava nos um jantar num espaço acolhedor, cheio de simpatia e iguarias.Desde os ovos com farinheira ou espargos, amêijoas, camarões, passando por uma sopa de tomate com ovo (mesmo alentejana), lombinhos com ananás acabando com um pijaminha de sobremesas. A recomendar e a voltar sempre que estivermos por perto.
