Real local place. No tourists. Great prices
Finding a restaurant in alaior is always a battle, but you could choose worse places than escacs. it is not far from the main square and if you have luck, parking available outside. do not expect too much of the menu, but the tapas work. for lunch. service was relaxed, but the personal friendly enough. of course not one of the best restaurants in menorca, but good if they are looking for a good lunch break
It was a cloudy day. we were on the cala pilar tomorrow and we decided to dia touch and go in mahon. on the way we decided to stop in alayor and had a lunch break here. first impression: it is a regular bar. Finally, it was a really nice surprise: we had tapas tk cut (mushrooms in garlic sauce and kartoffel in garlic sauce also:) delicious. beer, orange juice for less than relaxing atmosphere.
We were just a few hours in the city, just having a walk and stayed here for a lunch and a drink, seemed to be a place, but the staff was very friendly and everything was reasonable.
We found this hidden jem during the food purchase in alaior and decided to return for a afternoon drink and snack. great decision. beautiful buzz and outsight as they are more or less in the heart of the old city. eating was very delicious and fantastic. worth for us, much more fun and a better experience than the restaurants and bars we found on the front page in son bou. we will be back on our trip later!
