I'm at the front door dashing. It took three hellos to get any communication. Finally, the only person here, and I get to be just one person, he finally said a minute. I answered for your communication. It is sad that many greetings are recognized in an institution. View all feedback.
What Tatyana Bernhard doesn't like about Platinum Dragon Restaurant:
That was the fifth Chinese restaurant in six months we ordered sweet and sour chicken. Platinum Dragoon was the only restaurant mother who liked this dish. Finally. The roasted pot stickers and General Tso's chicken with roasted rice buy elsewhere not waste your time and money. The pot stickers were hard at the ends and the inside was partially filled...must be the recession. The sauce was pale and thin, which is not... View all feedback.

I was interested in trying out a new Chinese delivery site today. I stumbled on Platinum Dragon and read the reviews. I'm going to say I've had great experience today. I had a newer employee today who was nothing but friendly and patient. He was also my van. The food, I ordered two great sweet and sour chickens tasted as expected; crispy side, white meat chicken inside with a full of sauce. The delivery was punctual, and my whole food was fresh and hot from the kitchen. My experience was different from what many of the reviews suggest. I give this one 4 stars for fulfilling expectations, but do not surpass and amazing me. Try it again!
I want this restaurant to improve, so I value it a three. I lived in Akron for 5 years and ate here on the other day and I was not impressed by the food. We have veggie chow mine and a tofu special. I didn't care about the sauces used and the vegetables were quite tasteless. I would love if the chefs put more thoughts in the flavors used because I want to support local businesses. Give us vegans a reason to come back. I like the neon lighting and if you care or thought about tables that are not wobbly, it would be a nice place to eat.

Not a fan and will not come back here. This place is highly overpriced and food isn't good. I got the Bourbon chicken that was way too overcooked which made it dry and chewy. I asked for fried rice instead of white rice and got upcharged $4.50! The egg rolls are smaller than other places and more expensive. Pretty much everything is more expensive here than at other comparable places. Avoid this place if you can help it and go to Imperial Wok that is about 2 miles west on Market St instead!
