Pavona's Pizza Joint - Akron

Stopped in on Wednesday night for the guest bartender night and my food and drinks were awesome!!! The pizzas and salads are delicious!! The garlic knots were fluffy pillows of yum. Can’t wait to go back. Love that they support first responders! I will definitely give this local spot my family’s business from now on. Disclaimer: this is a wood fired pizza joint the pizza is made exactly how a Neapolitan pizza should be made, char and all! If you don’t like authentic Neapolitan pies then this pizza may not be the place for you. However we will continue to enjoy it!!

Food amazing! 10/10 service was great! Very chill people and I love the atmosphere this place gives! Will come again.

Authentic flavor without overpowering sauces. I tried the Diablo pizza with added chicken. I loved the hot and savory sauce and the pizza was loaded with jalapenos. This might not be appropriate for people who cannot eat hot dishes. The pizza place is small and cozy. Might get crowded at weekends and night because of the pub inside. The only con I felt is you need to be double sure of the prices. When I wanted to add chicken to the pizza, the server mentioned the cost which was less than the menu. But the cheque had the price of the menu.

Pizza was really good, especially the Diablo. The peppers had the perfect amount of spice. The cheese is what you want in a new York style.

Got pizza Saturday and it was good. Expensive but good. Well now their phone number doesn?t work. I?ll update the star rating when they pay their phone bill.
