New York Style Pizza Deli - Akron

Bought a $20 pizza had hair in it refused to remake the pizza cause my husband pulled the hair out so they say they cant prove that it had hair never gonna order from here again

We lived in N hill for 22 years or longer . This hidden family owned GEM was a great stop and try. The service and staff were extremely friendly, fresh ingredients goodnesses was a plus, reasonable price and portions were great. We order “park Ave” pizza pie, meatball calzone, and jo’s,. It was delicious. Good find and u should stop by and try. As I left they said “see u again” and yes they will.

I feel horrible for not getting the lady 's name who took our order. We drove over an hour for another restaurant that wound up being closed. A quick google search and this gem showed up on the list for nearby restaurants. Most pizza places aren 't anything to write home about, but with New York Styled in the name, we decided to give it an honest try. At first we couldn 't find the place and thought there was just a drive thru and saw no other businesses in sight. But after pulling into the drive thru (albeit to turn around, thinking we missed it), we noticed a woman sitting outside on break and over her head was a sign for the pizza shop we were looking for. I asked if we had to go through the drive thru to order and she said that we didnt have to. Navigating the parking lot is a little difficult, as it is small. But after parking we went inside and it is the definition of a hole on the wall restaurant. A small ordering area and the kitchen was all there was to it. First impressiom was it smelled DELICIOUS in there. Second impression was the prices were ridiculously low for what we were ordering. With all the food we ordered it was only about a 30 minute wait. Side note: I asked my friend if she wanted to see if there was a park nearby to eat. The lady who took our order says There 's one down that hill there, on the left side. Don 't go into the first parking lot, but the second . Honestly, the service was so friendly and that lady went above and beyond what would be expected in the food service industry. And let me tell you, we have leftovers that we DID NOT want to put down, lol. Great place! Great food! Great service! Great job ladies!
