the food was excellent, the speck wrapped scallops were our favorites, and jade was wonderful. we also appreciate the time that dean stopped at our table and spoke to us, it was very personal, not just a simple “thanks for coming”. ‘ View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lannings:
My husband and arrived at Lannings at 6:40 for our 6:45 reservation. We were seated at a table in a corner alcove that overlooked the gas station. We waited 15 minutes before a bus person, who said they weren 't notified that the table had been seated, poured our water glasses, at which point we decided to leave. The restaurant is beautiful and very romantic. We had an amazing and very special anniversary dinner thanks to the staff and chef. Our server Jade was fantastic! The drinks were so delicious and the food was spectacular! An absolute must try for a romantic evening. Met the chef and got to thank him for such a delicious meal, really enjoyed the vibe. Wine list was so robust, our server knew the list and recommended the Silver Oak which was to die for!!
We had a wonderful birthday celebration in the private dining room on Tuesday and had a wonderful experience. The service was perfect and Jabari and Mike took great care of us and made our evening special. The food was over the top and chef and the owner both stopped by to make sure everything was up to our expectations. Highly recommend!
Our server Joe was THE BEST, and the person who took care of bread, butter, cleaning off courses, was also wonderful. Loved that the chef came out to our table to ask about the meal. It was such a wonderful treat for my friend's birthday dinner. We will be doing it again because it just cannot be beat. I used to go there on special occasions all the time, but had not been for 3 years because of covid and other things happening in my life. First time I saw the new decorum and we loved it! So happy these are the same chefs from before. The scallops wrapped in bacon were heavenly. The filet and lobster tails were the best we had ever had. Enjoyed the traditional vibe, seats were comfortable and spacing was great… service excellent and food great! Perfect for a night out!

Open Table clearly states on their website that parties of two have 1 1/2 hours to dine so felt like we were on 'the clock '. The maitre de made little attempt to change our minds. We will not go back.
