I was a regular patron at Nighttown in Cleveland until they abandoned having Jazz on a regular basis. I am now making the drive to Blu Jazz to hear and support live jazz music! The club is bringing in local and regional musicians as well as occasional national acts. I have eaten there a couple of times and found the food good but nothing to rave about. I love the atmosphere and appreciate the good service at the bar.... View all feedback.
What Ann York doesn't like about Blu Jazz+:
Music was fantastic! Pianist and drummer were incredible. The food was terrible. I ordered a Larder plate and fries. The larder plate was a 6” plate of giardiniera, lunch meat that tasted like a refrigerator, a smear of hummus and some dill dip. That’s it. Like a child opened the refrigerator and plopped a couple things on a plate. $17 for a spoonful of giardinera and old lunch meat. I can’t understand how that actua... View all feedback.
Blu Jazz is always a fun night out for live music. Great atmosphere and always fun to dress up a bit and listen to some jazz. Their jam nights are fun too, but can be a little loud if the amps are turned up.

I hope to see more national touring acts in the future.

If you’re short staffed why not simplify your menu to a couple simple items rather than serve whatever it was I was unfortunate enough to have ordered this evening?
Tony's introduction before the band began...Priceless!! This is a classy joint. It's a must do in Akron. Thank you Tony!!
Went here with a friend and immediately fell in love with it. We went on one of the nights where others can go up and play with the band and it was a lot of fun. The cocktail menu is great and were decently mixed. The food is shockingly good, but I wish they offered more food options.
