Wow! How have I not discovered this place before? The food is amazing and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The cocktails are top-notch, and the bartender is a true mixologist with impressive skills. The homemade bitters and cherries are the perfect finishing touch. You would never expect such an excellent menu at a quaint, family-run establishment, but their quality and selection rival the best. The prices a... View all feedback.
What Isaiah Marks doesn't like about Arnie’s Public House:
Great local neighborhood establishment, but unfortunately, it’s hit or miss. Lots of potential, and we’ve had great food and service. But other times, it has been the complete opposite. View all feedback.

This restaurant has a lot of potential, but it falls short due to some necessary adjustments to its atmosphere. It lacks a certain polish. The service was fairly decent, and the food was acceptable as well. I was initially frustrated by the 3.995% surcharge for using a credit card, but I later realized they advertised a cash price as a special offer. I'm not so sure it felt like a bonus. Additionally, many items that totaled even amounts still resulted in change on the receipt. On a Friday night during dinner hours, the place was surprisingly empty. They really need to make some changes to attract more customers. Furthermore, the windows and doors were quite dirty, and there were still bird droppings, leaves, and litter on the patio where diners were sitting.
We had a rather underwhelming experience on a Friday night. One of our dishes was inedible, so we had to choose something else as a replacement. When it came time to settle the bill, we had to ask for the first item to be removed, which they did without any fuss. Many menu items were sold out that night. The chicken tenders were cut in half, so what was advertised as six tenders only amounted to three regular-sized ones, necessitating another order. The Irish Nachos were decent, but the house-made potato chips were too soggy to enjoy with the queso. The Mac and Cheese was the highlight of our meal. Unfortunately, the pierogis were overcooked and not enjoyable. However, the fried green tomatoes were a standout and the best dish we had. The two cocktails we ordered were average and certainly didn't justify their $15 price tag. Overall, if we find ourselves in Akron again, we would not choose to return.

The burgers and fries were so heavily seasoned with ground pepper, you couldn't taste anything else. Also, myself and my dining companion for food poisoning from said burgers. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
