It's been awhile (pre covid I didn't go but my bf went an ordered pizza and then he went and had a beer next door while he waited. They gave it to him while in the bar (bonus! Pizza was really good! Used to eat this pizza as a young kid in the 70's and I haven't had one since they were located in the actual House. So my mom and I were so looking forward to trying it again after several decades. Always excellent food and service. When they aren 't too busy, ask for the pasta menu. You will not be disappointed. Grandma 's Pizza is the best pie in the area. I like it with bacon and extra garlic.
Ohmygoodness! I can't tell you how awesome this place is. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had, the service was genuine and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. The owner came out and brought my 2yr old a balloon, to boot! My dad's been raving about their pizza for a while, but he's always talking about this or that awesome pizza joint, so I was kinda meh about it. But this time, he's right. We will definitely be coming here again! :
This is a good place to eat and a good place to get take out. Their pizza is very good. Even the white pizza. Their wings are okay but I am a wing snob so many places fall short of being acceptable. They are certainly with the price they charge but I'd get wings at my two favorite wing places over this one. Keep in mind it is pizza house not wing hut. The menu is fairly large considering it is a pizza place. I would recommend both dining in and taking out. GREAT food and reasonably priced.
This place serves a fantastic pizza. The older gentleman who runs the establishment is a true treasure, making the dough from scratch every day. The toppings are generous, and the sausage is of excellent quality. Unlike many of the greasy and heavy pizza places around, this one stands out. Even the hyped spots can’t compare. If you want a better experience, I recommend asking them to crisp the pizza up by keeping it in the oven a bit longer. It really makes a difference!
It’s been a while since I visited (I didn’t go before COVID, but my boyfriend did). He ordered a pizza and then enjoyed a beer next door while waiting. They actually brought his pizza to him at the bar, which was a nice bonus! The pizza was really good, so I’ll definitely encourage him to order from here again. He can have a beer and relax while waiting for his food—sounds like a win to me!
