If you 're limited on time, there are many places closer to the station which serve this Akashi-yaki dish, although they might not be the best, like this joint is. The shop itself is tiny, and you 'll probably sit with or near strangers at your table, but it works. It 's got a nice mom-and-pop atmosphere. The food was superb! ¥650 for a sheet of 20; you have to order in multiples of 20, which seems like a lot, but they 're actually pretty small so it should be fine unless you 're a super small eater. You can dip them in the broth or add toppings as you like.
