The lady was so rude and gave us imitation crab meat and passed it off for sashimi. This is not a Japanese owned restaurant and misleading to people that they serve Japanese food. If you are going to serve imitation crab meat and try to pass it off as sashimi, put it on the menu. It's lying to people. The waitress was the rudest server I have dealt with. She walked away twice to serve someone else. I am so sad that people in Ajax will think that this is authentic Japanese food. Shameful!

Yesterday I came with my family and my 1 yr old son was teething so we were constantly getting up to walk him outside for fresh air. The waitress and I even had a convo about teething and she asked how old she was. She commented after seeing him eat my mom's ice cream "he liked that ice cream. The cold really helps the teething". I was disappointed to see they charged us a buffet kids price for my son considering they knew he was teething and didn't eat anything other than 5 spoons of my mom's ice cream. It wasn't even an order of ice cream for him but her's. When I brought it to her attention she just said "yeah that is the price for kids under three." I get their policy is charging for kids under 3 (weird since most buffets charge for 3 and up--- i mean what if a newborn came in?); However she knew he didn't eat the food so why charge? Further, spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls were not spicy and miso soup was lukewarm. Will not go back.
