Shoeless Joe's - Ajax

Service was acceptable, food was "if it was any better it would have been mediocre" I've eaten here before and didn't have expectations other than "meh" so in that regard it didn't disappoint. I know with the right cooks, the right menu, the right training, the right management the food could be SO much better. I would never "choose" to go to Shoeless Joes Ajax, it's just so typical of Ajax, and you're fitting right in to the **** town this is turning out to be. It would be nice to have a decent place to go for decent eats here in Ajax. Unfortunately, this is definitely not the place. The fish tacos sucked! The sliders were kinda ****, the truffle mac& cheese was abysmal, but your spinach salad with candied pecans looked lovely! I wish I had ordered that! Step it up folks. Please!

Restaurant was clean and service was quick and food was pretty good. Was a perfect spot to stop to get off a busy 401 for a bit.

I've been to other locations but the food and drinks at this one don't seem to keep up with the taste of other locations. I'm happy to have them close by but it's not as good as the downtown locations I used to frequent.

Don't go for dinner! Bad food, hair on food, Salted to the point of inedible. Nice service, good drinks.

I must say, I am quite surprised that this place doesn't have more positive reviews considering how busy it was when I visited.
