Firehouse Subs - Ajax

This was my first time visiting Firehouse and I have to say, the sandwiches here are unlike any other sub place. They are more akin to deli sandwiches and are truly outstanding. This is now the only sub place for us.

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant for a quick late lunch and we were happy we did. It was our first time dining here. We decided to order the half and half option and added chilis to our half subs. The portions were perfect for lunch. We found out that drinks were not included with the meal, but that was fine. My husband ordered the Italian sub and he loved it, while I chose the Hook and Ladder sub which was also delicious. We both really enjoyed the heat and flavor of the chili, although we thought it could have been hotter in terms of temperature. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely consider Firehouse as a fast food option in the future.

My husband and I both really enjoy Firehouse Subs. Whenever we visit our friends in Ajax from the UK, Firehouse Subs is always our first stop. We have no complaints about this place!

First trip to Firehouse Subs (on a recommendation) and I ordered The Steamer. The quality of meats cheese were great...however, my bread was dripping wet soggy. After I received a 100% refund, I was i formed that that’s how that this particular sandwich comes. Ew. Not for me, that’s for sure. Very good/apologetic staff, good customer service training however.

Pleasant surprise for sub franchise. Good range of sub options. Sauces enhance your basic sub. Basic sub size could be larger. A bit pricier than most sub places.
