Was Robyn Ziemann at Ating Bahay a mag?
If there were a place to give 10 stars instead of just 5, this would be it! The food is absolutely incredible—definitely the best chicken in town! I also had the pleasure of trying the purple yam bread, and it was delicious! I'm really hoping they can open a restaurant soon! View all feedback.

What Nerissa W dislikes about Ating Bahay:
Frankly, the taste is synonymous to any Korean Fried Chicken joint. The pieces of chicken here may be bigger here. For half-original/half sweet Korean BBQ, $28.99. The prices here are $2 less compared to other joints. Their lumpiang shanghai, 14 (16 on the website) pcs for $8. These were fresh, crispy and flavourful. View all feedback.

The Korean fried chicken here is excellent. I’m not a fan of Filipino food, but her Korean fried chicken is truly remarkable.

The Korean chicken here is fantastic! They are undergoing a rebranding and will be closed starting August 15th. Be sure to check them out when they reopen at the same location under their new name, Ban Ban.

I really appreciated how carefully the store packaged the fried chicken, leaving the container slightly open to maintain the chicken's crunch. Unlike other KFCs where the regular fried chicken is often spiced with a bit of black pepper, Ating Bahay's preparation was perfect, with no heat—which was great for my daughter, who isn’t good with spicy food. The Yang-nyum chicken had a delightful sweetness, accented with a hint of spice from gochujang, which was absolutely delicious! Normally, I can’t eat much regular fried chicken, but this sauce made me devour four pieces. I can already hear my airbike calling my name! The perfectly crunchy regular fried chicken combined with the sweet, sticky yang-nyum chicken really satisfied our cravings, and we can't wait to try more of their offerings in the future.

On my second visit, I went to the restaurant to pick up two half orders of their KFC in soy garlic and spicy chili flavors. The order included pickled radish and a can of soda. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about the KFC, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken. It was perfectly flavored and crispy. They prepare each order fresh, ensuring that the food is extremely fresh when you receive it. The portions are quite filling. I highly recommend this place for both their Filipino dishes and KFC. I'm thrilled to see that it's been getting a lot of attention lately. Just a heads-up: be sure to call ahead to place your order, as it has become quite popular! Don’t expect to just walk in, order something, and have it ready in a few minutes. While this is a minor inconvenience, it’s a good sign for the business and definitely well-earned!
