What Henriette Sanchez doesn't like about Restaurant Pierre Reboul:
The food was okay, but the service was also painfully slow for Europe and worse was the sommelier wine pairing choices. The timing was on sauce or wine for a few minutes. 511 euros and we made us feel unhappy and upset... how long it took. Sometimes more than 35min wait between courses without wine as they were not attentive to observe. Not what you expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The cook seems sweet and tal... Beautiful restaurant garden, large rooms in period castle but hugely over-priced for the standard of service and comfort provided. The restaurant was especially over-priced: the service was slow, inattentive and generally poor and the prices were shockingly high.Posto bellissimo ma il rapporto prezzo-qualità è pessimo, veramente carissimo e la qualità scarseggiava
Avoid this place. Rude, inefficient reception staff. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate, although you wouldn't know it from the website. We asked 5 times over 8yrs for a room with functioning air conditioning. Unacceptable with a 4 month old baby. We enjoyed leaving and cancelled our second night stay after the worst customer experience I've had in 20 years.
A perfect spot for informal lunch in a quiet country setting, a 17th C. chateau right in the middle of a commercial zone (Les MIlles/La Pioline). We've been here several times. Great value for the mid-week lunch menu. Food and service are very good; the food is light, well-conceived and well-executed. It's a beautiful relaxing spot when you want to be away from the hustle-bustle of town-5 mins by car or 10 mins by bus from the center. It's popular for business lunches. The dining room is formal-(but we have not eaten dinner here.)
Great food experience with a lot of very interesting taste combination. The molecular aspect of it is a bit of an overstatement. Only a very few dishes qualify as molecular, but the experience was great and the price is very good for a 1* restaurant.
