What Cassie doesn't like about Birchwood Cafe:
We arrived to find five uncleaned tables, making it challenging to find a place to sit. To add to that, we saw two groups who arrived after us getting their orders taken before we did! On a positive note, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. However, every customer had to wait around 10 minutes at the register for an employee to assist them with payment. View all feedback.

Life is slower up here, and you need to adjust. When we come here we’re not in a rush and we have nowhere to go—and everytime its fabulous. The service is fast and they leave you alone. They always bring a pot of coffee for us adults and we sip on it while we talk to our kids. Everything is done well and typical greasy spoon. The hash browns are crispy, the French toast is flavorful, and the omelette are cheesy. You’re at the lake, chill out and enjoy the ride.
We love the Birchwood. Been coming here for decades. Love the platter cakes (wild rice! and the waffles. Coffee isn't fancy, but it's hot, fresh and reliable.
Delicious food, quick service, friendly staff, nice location, and great prices. Would highly recommend.
