We stopped there on our way to Crane Lake and I was amazed at the extensive menu for a small town cafe. As soon as I saw it on the menu I knew I wanted the hot beef sandwich, which was called a hot beef commercial back in the day. It was just as good as I was hoping for with plenty of delicious gravy. A darned good home cooked meal for a decent price. Service was fast and friendly. View all feedback.

Definitely a dive. Not clean. Has old, old, like 20 year old carpeting. Waitress was the only thing I liked about the place. Window sills have piles of dirt. If the restaurant isn't clean, I don't think the food is clean. View all feedback.

Great food, Great prices, great service! Couple months ago my wife and I took my elderly inlaw parents to this great place. My mother inlaw tripped and fell, me and my father inlaw couldn't find enough strength to help her back to her feet, and this angel of a man came right to the rescue. And disappeared before we could thank him. A month later while dinning there again my wife recognize him as the cook behind the counter! He rushed outside and helped us in our time of need without second guessing. Thank you for keeping a wonderful staff!!
If you’re googling places to stop off 169 for a breakfast en route to the cabin or on your way home— stop looking! You found THE ONE! Our breakfast was incredible. Pancakes bigger than the plates, perfectly cooked eggs, just enough variety to have options but not be overwhelmed. Super kind service, unlimited coffee. Our kids immediately asked if we could come back next summer- total win!
Had a delicious breakfast today! Sorry, I forgot about the picture until I was half way through my Eggs Benedict. It was very good.
What great food and service. The perfect spot to bring the family for some classic home food. Thank you! My kids loved the shake and root beer float today too
