Contribute FeedbackMontana's restaurant has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have praised the attentive service and tasty food, others have complained about slow service, burnt dishes, and poorly managed locations. Despite being family-friendly, the tight seating, noise levels, and inconsistent food quality have left some patrons disappointed. Issues with out-of-stock menu items, undercooked steaks, and unprofessional behavior from staff have also been reported. Overall, while some guests have had great experiences, others have been left unsatisfied and may not return to this particular restaurant chain in the future.
The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the service was extremely slow and there were lots of staff just walking around doing nothing. Our waiter didn't seem to be properly trained and appeared to not know what he was doing or just didn't care. The food came out cold, bland, in smaller portions than usual, and was barely edible. Our kids used to love Montanas, but after we left, they asked to never go there again.
The staff was friendly and attentive, the timing was on point. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. This restaurant is also suitable for families with children.
They had no steak knives avail for my steak and the drink we ordered extra spicy wasn’t spicy. I don’t blame the server for either instance. She was very good.
We have visited the Montana's in Airdrie several times, and on our recent visits, they have consistently been out of menu items. Previously, it was baked potatoes, and last night, it was Blue Moon beer and the 10oz steak. The staff simply informed us that they were out of the 10oz steaks, offering us a 7oz or 12oz option without any discount on the larger steak. The manager had a take it or leave it attitude. The washroom waste bins were overflowing, and despite having a reservation, we had to wait about 10 minutes. The food was decent, but it is clear that this location is not well managed.
Awful. Took over an hour to get our food. When it arrived 1 order completely wrong, 4 orders burnt and 2 of them they tried to hide the burn. Service was bad all around, first attempt to get a manager to help we got offered a free appy. After a little candid conversation and and specific request they ended up cutting the bill in half. Not our first bad experience with this specific Montana's. Likely won't be back
