My husband loves their "Mud head" burger- My favorite is their Mushroom Swiss---mmmmmm!! Their french fries are crispy on the outside, and soft nd hot on the inside- perfect!! In the winter, I save room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding- it is the best I have ever had. I love this place!!

It has very good food, although the me... read more I went to Abe's last week with my wife as we had been told very good things about it and everything we heard was correct. It has very good food, although the menu is quite limited. Hamburgers and salads were very good. Only thing I was disappointed in was the deep fried pickles. These appeared to be out a frozen box and I would have expected them to be fresh.

However, the hash browns were cooked on the same grill as the buns, which posed a significant gluten contamination risk, and so was the bacon! I ended up eating... read more However, the hash browns were cooked on the same grill as the buns, which posed a significant gluten contamination risk, and so was the bacon! I ended up eating just the eggs, toast, tomatoes, and avocado, but even that made me quite anxious. To top it off, I was charged an additional $2.50 for a meal that was hardly edible and missing key components. I left feeling very anxious and disappointed. I understand that my dietary restrictions are my own concern, but if you’re advertising as being celiac safe, then your practices need to reflect that!

All burger patties are homemade, and the fries are hand-cut. They even have a dedicated gluten-free fryer for the fries! The menu features a variety of options including Eggs Benedict, Chilaquiles, gluten-free French toast, burgers served on delicious gluten-free bread, gluten-free poutine, authentic Mexican tacos, milkshakes, and gluten-free quinoa brownies, among others.
