Feedback
Malia's in Aiken boasts a captivating atmosphere that draws diners in, though opinions on the cuisine vary. While some guests praise the attentive service and quality dishes, like the soft shell crabs and eggplant stack, others express disappointment over pre-packaged desserts and delays in meal service. The restaurant faces criticism for inconsistent food quality and unexpected charges, such as for bread. However, it remains a popular choice for its relaxed ambiance and reasonable pricing. Overall, Malia's can impress with charm and ambiance, but improvements in food quality and service would enhance the dining experience.
Wonderful. Long time since we had a 'date night ', so I decided to take a little trip to Aiken. WOW!!! Everything in one package....clean, professional wait staff, fantastic menu. We shy away from 'franchise food ' and seek special places like this. Our meals were great! Clearly, this was just 'a first '. Will return!! Many more menu items to explore!
This is the first ever restaurant that I’ve seen that’s charged people for bread. We paid almost $9 for bread! Absolutely ridiculous! I remember coming here one time and the duck being good but this time my duck tasted weird and bland. For arguably the best restaurant in Aiken, it really disappointed me.
Total disappointment. We were excited to try this restaurant based on the reviews but unfortunately our bite to eat turned into the three hour tour . It wasn 't actually 3 hours but after the hour and twenty minute mark waiting for our entrees we were ready to go. Our server unfortunately had a negative and unapologetic attitude and the manager was not much better. The only information given to why it was taking SO long was that they 're working on it . Once we did get our food after an hour and thirty minutes everything seemed like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time. Nothing seemed fresh. The taste was fine but everything else was disappointing. Don 't dine here hungry or with a timeline in mind.
Great place for an upscale lunch without blowing your budget. High quality and fresh ingredients. I had the Greek Beef Kabobs. My bride had the burger. It was the best beef flavor she had in some time. My Beef Kabobs were outstanding. The plate was complimented with fingerling potatoes and greens. Not a bit was left on the plate. Well trained and professional service makes this place a bargain. We will return for dinner.
