I have to say, my obsession with this place runs deep. Every time I visit Oahu, there's no question that I'll stop by Fooki. It's incredibly rare to find a Taiwanese restaurant where every dish is outstanding, but that's exactly what you get here. We tried the pork belly bowl and the COW WOW noodles, which were among the top three dishes we had during our entire trip to the island. The decor strikes a perfect balance—it's modern and has a great vibe, and I really enjoyed the variety of food and drink options. The service was exceptionally friendly, quick, and even had a great sense of humor, all while playing awesome 80s throwback music! What more could you possibly want? Definitely make a point to visit here; you won’t regret it!
I was moved to tears after my first bite of the beef bowl. The food was absolutely stunning—simply too good to be true. It felt like a mental journey, bringing me bliss and making me reflect on my existence. The beef was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone. It was like a cloud of exquisite sauce that leaves you craving more. I adore this dish and never want this experience to end.
This Taiwanese restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone craving authentic Taiwanese cuisine. We stopped by after visiting Pearl Harbor and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. In fact, we returned a few days later for dinner after a long day at the beach and a hike to Ka'ena Point. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, ensuring you won’t leave feeling hungry. We tried the Monster Pork Chop, which is massive, along with BoomBoom Chicken, Classic Beef Noodle Soup, Mushroom Noodle Soup, and a Pineapple Fried Chicken Burger. Everything was delicious! As someone from LA, I've experienced plenty of Chinese and Taiwanese restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, and I can confidently say this food surpasses many of them. My sons, who were born and raised in the USA, also enjoyed the dishes. Additionally, the dessert and drink menu offers a wide variety of selections.
First time here and ordered the ?Beef Scallion Noodles??beef shanks, taro chips, red onions, cucumber, cilantro, green onion and scallion oil. Delicious! I asked for a bit of spicy chili to mix in with it, and it made it even more to my taste. The key is tomix it thoroughly, as a lot of the flavor is at the bottom of the bowl. Perfect consistency and portion, and the servers weremore than hospitable. Everything was prepared quick and just as ordered. Definitely returning.
I cried after taking my first bite of the beef bowl. The food was extremely beautiful. Just too good. I felt like I was on a journey in my mind, experiencing bliss and making me question my existence. The beef is extremely soft and falls right off thebone. It is like a cloud made of exquisite tasting sauce that keeps you salivating forever. I love it. I don't want thisexperience to end. ????
