First time visiting, plenty of parking, hostess was friendly, ordered the country fried steak with sausage gray, mashers and gravy and Brussels sprouts for the... read more First time visiting, plenty of parking, hostess was friendly, ordered the country fried steak with sausage gray, mashers and gravy and Brussels sprouts for the sides and a key lime pie for desert. While waiting for my food, ordered a roasted lemonade. The fry on the country fried steak was crisp, the steak was a little tough for my liking, but still could be cut with plasticwear. The sausage gravy has good spice to it. The mashers were rich and creamy and wasn't mashed completely so you knew it washome made. I normally don't order Brussel sprouts, but I am glad I did, they had a good char to them and seasoned well. Thesweet sauce on it counterbalanced the natural bitterness of the Brussel sprouts. The roasted lemonade had an nice tang with abit of smokeyness that complimented the entire meal. The key lime pie had the right amount of pucker and the pie crust wascrunchy and sweet to add that needed texture. The atmosphere seemed decent though I didn't stay, maybe next time I'll dine in.

The bbq sauces they offered were tasty, and they start it all off with popcorn ????!! The server we had was familiar with west Texas, so thatmade it that much more memorable! Thank you guys for the great food and warm welcome!
