If waiters see it as an imposition to serve the customer, there are a lot of things going wrong in a store. After the aperitif we decided to eat somewhere else life's too short to deal with entitled staff and shoddy service.

I 'll be happy to come back. _________ Review from 2023 (only one star) In an expensive restaurant, decadence and style can be very close together, and ultimately, the respectful way guests treat their guests determines which prevails. I was at the Weitblick restaurant in 2017 and was captivated by the restaurant 's charm. This charm consisted of a mixture of wonderful views, a certain extravagance in the food, the casual guests, and absolutely dedicated and professional service. Well, Weitblick is practically given a view of the Baltic Sea, so restaurant owners should be all the more grateful for this visitor magnet. It gives them a great base for visitors and fine dining. I 've been back to Weitblick three times since 2017, and each time I felt a little more disappointed. Today, on my fourth visit since then, I left without ordering. When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked the man at the bar for a table. We were asked if we had a reservation. We hadn 't. Then the service staff would have to decide where we could sit, we were told. We approached the male and female waiters, but were left with our questions. We stood around uncertainly for a while and then chose a table. They have to check whether it 's reserved first, a waiter called out to us as he passed. We sat uncertainly on the edge of our seats. It took a while before we were told we could stay seated. The menus were more or less thrown at us and we were asked for drinks. I 'd actually already given up on staying. When I glanced at the menu and saw dishes for €48, I got up and we left. The gentleman who had been standing at the counter followed us and asked if there was anything wrong. My attempt to explain to him that I expected more professional service in a restaurant of this kind with such expensive dishes unfortunately fell on deaf ears. Quite the opposite. He stammered something about us or something being just like that, and the word reserve was mentioned several times. Unfortunately, he wasn 't easy to understand, and I had no idea what he was actually trying to tell us.
