Wonderful pastry shops of Cécile! A family recipe from the grandmother and stepmother, a perfect sandy with just what it takes sugar without too, thick and melting with the crust crispy, and a cherry or blueberry filling (there are many other flavors even the heretic nuttela perfect. The best basque cake ever tasted. For fares it is more than reasonable. Don’t hesitate to chat with her, she’s more charming. Only flat it cannot ship the cake from their fragility and that includes. I discovered Cécile's Basque cakes at the Balda food bus (it provides Basque cakes} and what a slap! They are remarkably excellent, well balanced, crispy and mellow at a time. I loved it so much that during my vacation week, I called Cécile to order. It prepares the cakes for order and does not have stock and it is so much better because there you had ultra fresh cakes of the day (petri by hand), and with a little luck, these will still be warm from cooking. For my part I took a Basque cake of 6 people with cherry jam and another original bi-parfum jam apricot and Nutella. Trying it is really adopting it.
