Highly recommended. My girlfriend and I were there on vacation and we ate deliciously, from appetizers to dessert. I'd love to go back . But above all, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
A delicious grilled oyster, a delicious dish with a thousand flavors. Polish We had a very pleasant evening at the restaurant. The grilled octopus and mussels were exceptionally good and perfectly prepared. Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. Kind regards! Kate and Jacob from Poland

They don't a vegan menu anymore. I asked the waiter what I could get and he was really helpful and knowledgeable about veganism. They have only 2 (maybe 3? vegan dishes but they said they would be happy to make up something for me. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-03 Updated from previous review on 2021-08-03

Always nice to eat at a place that's essentially well run. Food is good and definitely above average for a town that needs to cater to an endless stream of tourists. Atmosphere is actually quite nice, too. The staff give the impression that they enjoy their work and they get along together (and with the boss) too. Oh, and increasingly rare, but still possible here: a half liter bottle of wine (decanted in the restaurant). Let's face it a full bottle is a bit much for many couples (certainly for us), but it's nice to be able to have an extra glass. Staff spoke English, too, and were friendly and hospitable. Keep it up, Krokos!
Very nice looking restaurant. Came here in April and it was too cold inside the restaurant, had to sit with my jacket on during the entire dinner. Service was really fast, friendly and attentive. We ordered the Gnocchi with Almonds which was really really well cooked and very tasty. We also ordered the Cavatelli a la Norma as our first dish and it was nice but the pasta was undercooked. Then we ordered the Swordfish in pistachio crust and the Octopus with lemon potatoes. The swordfish was disappointing, it really missed some taste. The crust wasn’t crispy and the fish was a bit dry. The octopus was very nicely cooked and the taste on the mashed potatoes was really well done. The Almond Parfait was really one to recommend together with a decaf coffee.
Service and atmosphere were good, starters also. Fish was terrible with no side dish. We ordered medium beef, but got very well done. Meat was served with tasteless salad from a supermarket. Truly a disappointment.
A highly recommended restaurant The wine list is extensive and the prices are excellent value. The seafood platter starter was very fresh and crisp, the main course of octopus and swordfish was fresh and tasty, the seafood pasta was a generous portion. We also ordered the pistachio ice cream and cannoli for dessert, which was also unexpectedly delicious. worth a visit!

Good location near the city center, easy to find. Airconditioning too weak for the inner room when 32 degrees outside. Polpo on lemon cream was OK. Fish plate very average one fish not cooked enough, another one overcooked and dry. Staff not speaking English or German, but they tried their best.
Extremely disappointing! Between the waitress who did not know the menu and was quite rude and the staff smoking next to our table it was unpleasant. The food was ok but nothing special.
Great quality food, excellent and friendly service. Would highly recommend. Businesses can also be judged on how they deal with a small problem, and they were extremely courteous and apologetic. We liked them very much.
This place is not bad but not that great either. in two weeks in Sicily probably one of the poorer meals. It’s cheap but the quality of the ingredients are also cheap. I had more than 10 pistachio shells in the nut coating on my fish. They said they had draft beer. No draft beer. There ability to speak and understand English is limited. I ordered a steak but the very slow writing waiter “forgot” to include it in the order. My insalata di mare was supposed to contain squid and octopus. It only contained octopus. This place just is not as good as our previous experiences.
Really enjoyed our evening at Krokos. It’s set just off the Main Street with tables outside on the steps leading up. We ate inside which was also very nice. The service was excellent from the friendly greeting to the attentive advice. The food and wine was also excellent the waiter advised us on the wine (a great choice) and the pasta we both had for our mains was delicious. A definite recommend and would return. Thank you.

A highly recommended restaurant the wine list is extensive and the prices are excellent. the seafood-plate star was very fresh and crispy, the main course of otopus and heavy fish was fresh and tasty, the seafood pasta was a generous portion. we also ordered the pistachio ice cream and cannoli for dessert, which was also unexpectedly delicious. worth a visit!
The location on the stages is sweet and the staff was very friendly. but eating was a mixed bag and quite expensive for quality. the caponata was not bad and the fishpasta was quite delicious, but the tagliata was very blanching. we have expected more on the basis of assessments and are disappointed.
