Small intimist courtyard pleasant to eat in a quiet area.Featuring a gourmet restaurant, it is perfect. We've all loved it and we'll definitely come back.

This restaurant dares to propose a menu discovered according to the mood of chefs to 27 €. To succeed in this kind of exercise, you have to master the kitchen. divine surprise! I do. good quality products, texture assembly and original flavours. Trust me.

Beautiful discovery last night at agen. has two we have tasted 5 of the dishes of the map. all original and delicious. for these very reasonable rates it makes good to have recipes sought, with very fresh dishes. the leader dares to get out of the beaten paths and the result is there. Thank you for this good meal. we will renew without moderation!. under a more favorable sky, we will test the terrace.

Wandering around Agen's pleasant side streets in search of somewhere for lunch, we passed L'Acetho, which doesn't look particularly eye catching from the outside. A glance at the menu coupled with our need for food persuaded us that it might be worth a try. Good decision. We ate outside, a little terrace in an alley behind the restaurant. The service was convivial, the food excellent well presented and with innovative combinations of ingredients. Not sure whether English is spoken as we were able to converse in French, but communication should be no problem. This meal was the highlight of a very enjoyable day spent with friends in Agen. Recommended.

We were in Agen on National Music Day and the main restaurant strip was full of people, tables, and music stages. Not what we were looking for. Then we stumbled upon L'Acetho, and spoke to some of the staff taking a break out front before service. Could they do vegetarian? Oui. Could they handle an allergy to capsicum/bell-peppers/poivron? Oui. So we returned later in the evening, and ordered two menu surprise, one vegetarian sans poivron. And it was a-mazing. Combinations of ingredients and flavours that have you mildly sceptical, but which will tantalise and delight your tastebuds. Part of the menu surprise is guessing what you had eaten. Which added to the enjoyment. All this together with our patient waiter (at one point I have him my phone to use Google translate to compensate for our lack of French) made for a great evening. And the guy we spoke to earlier? That would be Thomas Marguin, one of the two amazing chefs working their magic in the kitchen.
