La Manade's food was very good. Service was excellent. But If you get here on rush time just be patient.

We booked to come back at 7 when it was open and a lovely corner table had been reserved for us. Husband’s starter was ham cheese and salad and he really enjoyed it. His filet mignon was perfect with a beautiful sauce. My lasagne was creamy and tasty. Dessert- I had apple with red fruit crumble and hubby had a crème brûlée which came flaming. A lovely little spot with excellent care and thought put into the cooking. We will return! Merci beaucoup!

One of the steaks was good, one was dry and tough, ok, I accept this can happen, but no apology was given, neither a deduction on the bill offered nor a drink on the house. Also, the mushrooms that came with the steak were overcooked, bordering on burnt. The saving grace was the creme brûlée really nice, properly done and impressively served still burning. All in all the food was a mixed bag but certainly would not make us want to return. The restaurant itself looks nice from the outside, lots of greenery growing everywhere. It looked inviting and the waitress welcoming us was very friendly. Shame the waiter who took our money and our complaint did not display the same good customer service.
