Nestled in the heart of the community, this restaurant offers an authentic Chinese dining experience that stands apart from typical Americanized counterparts. Guests rave about handmade dumplings, flavorful eggplant dishes, and fresh, well-prepared vegetables. The attentive service and family-run atmosphere enhance the meal, creating a welcoming environment. While some diners have lamented high prices and disappointing dishes, the majority celebrate the quality and authenticity, particularly recommending lesser-known dishes and vegetarian options. For those seeking true North Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is rapidly becoming a local favorite, making it worth the drive for an unforgettable dining experience.

If you're looking for authentic traditional northeastern Chinese food, this is the place. The dumplings are made fresh from scratch and there's nothing that comes close to the flavor. One bite and I was transported back to my visits in Tianjin and Baoding. The food was wonderful. The service was a little slow mainly due to the dishes being served fresh and only one person waiting and running the register. As their popularity grows I'm sure they'll have to bring in additional help. Do yourself a favor and check this out. Don't be in a rush. It looks like a fast food place but it's not revel in the values of family style Chinese dishes. Sit and make memories with your loved ones as you enjoy this hidden gem.

Gotta try THIS place! Not your standard Americanized Chinese food, this is the real thing North China cuisine. I am very impressed with this now local family owned and run restaurant. I even enjoyed the tofu and I rarely, read as ever, enjoy tofu!

The Chinese food was fantastic. Where else can you find handmade dumplings these days? I'd return just for those! The handmade Lo-Mein noodles were also excellent, and the sauces were perfectly balanced. This is family-style dining, so it's great to share with your table. The prices are incredibly low—cheaper than a value meal at a fast-food place. The owner even works in the kitchen and came by our table to see how we were doing. We'll definitely be back!

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Chinese food at this restaurant. Although I’ve never tried what some might consider "authentic" Asian cuisine, I seriously doubt this is it. The prices are comparable to a five-star restaurant, yet I would only give it one star. We spent $35 on just two dishes. My husband assumed that the sesame chicken would come with egg rolls, as it usually does, so he ordered them separately, only to discover that one egg roll cost $3! They weren't very good, but at least they were better than the rest of the meal. Our sesame chicken lacked any flavor, and the onion in the fried rice was so overwhelming that we couldn’t finish it. I may be an uninformed American when it comes to authentic Chinese food, but we definitely won’t be returning.
