**Dining and Gaming at The Lost Dice: A Mixed Experience** The Lost Dice offers a vibrant atmosphere for board game enthusiasts, complemented by a solid selection of games and friendly staff. While many patrons rave about the quality of drinks and certain food items, experiences with the food can vary dramatically. Some dishes, like the chips, were critiqued for being oily; others questioned the freshness of select items. Despite these culinary inconsistencies, the restaurant shines as a social hub where guests can enjoy group activities comfortably. For those seeking a lively outing with games in tow, The Lost Dice may be worth a visit—but perhaps skip the food.
The pizza and chips were very good. High recommendation for the chips
I liked the place except the food. It can improve, but in general all good.
We booked in for Fathers Day lunch. We should have left as soon as we walked in and were met with the smell of rancid grease. We stuck it out, a girl who wasn't working kindly helped us find our way to our table and find a game because no one else was offering assistance. The bartender explained the concept, we ordered food and drink through their online service. Which is handy. It cost $101 for 12 chicken bites, a 6-inch pizza and two bowls of chips, and four drinks. These were delivered to our table without plates, napkins or cutlery. My family were dubious of the surroundings being sticky and didn't want to try the food or eat with their fingers and touch the board games, I tried to show them it was safe to eat the food by starting on the pizza, but one bite of it and I regurgitated it back out, the cheese or base was bitter, and I had race to the front to find a napkin to spit my food out into. We left the remaining pizza, chicken and chips, I finished my tasty Whisky Sour and we left to find somewhere else to have Fathers Day lunch. This would be perfect for drinks and board games, skip the food.
Such a cute lil hidden gem, the staff is so welcoming and the place is unlike anything else we have here in Adelaide.
