Description

Sunny's in Adelaide is a must-visit spot that offers a high-quality dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere. The DJ plays disco and dance music, setting a lively vibe that can sometimes be a bit too loud. The pizzas are traditional and fresh, with some standout dishes like the squid and flavorful Brussels sprouts. The retro decor adds to the charm of this hidden gem, where you can enjoy great food, drinks, and tunes until late. Overall, Sunny's is highly recommended for those looking for an authentic Italian pizza experience with friendly staff and a unique atmosphere.

Ah, Sunny’s Pizza. First, you have to find it—which is no small feat. It’s like a culinary escape room: wander down Adelaide’s eerily deserted laneways, dodge a few bins, question all your life choices, and just when you’re sure you’re walking into a murder scene—boom, there it is. Glowing like a greasy little lighthouse in a sea of tumbleweeds and shuttered cafes. Now, you might be thinking, “Is this worth it?” Yes. Yes, it is. Because Sunny’s has garlic bread. Not just any garlic bread. This stuff deserves a Netflix special and its own line of scented candles. Wood-fired to crispy, buttery perfection, it somehow manages to both comfort your soul and clog your arteries—just like grandma used to make (if grandma was a hipster pizzaiolo with a wood oven and a DJ booth). The pizza? Oh sure, that’s good too. Worthy, even. Delicious, even. But let’s be real: the pizza is the opening act. The garlic bread is the headliner, the main event, the reason you’ll text your ex at 11:45pm asking if they want to “grab carbs sometime.” So, if you find yourself in Adelaide on a Monday night (and I sincerely hope you don’t), and everything else is closed, fear not. Sunny’s is open. Sunny’s understands you. Sunny’s will feed you garlic bread that makes you believe in joy again. Price per person: $40–60 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The best pizza! I got the eggplant pizza made vegan and gluten-free and it was delicious! I have never had gluten free bases that good and the toppings were perfect.

The food is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a fantastic and lively atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. I enjoyed all of the dishes, but the cauliflower was especially delicious.

The staff at this restaurant was very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to let us sample different wines from their list, recommended their favorite pizzas, and were attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere was great, with a lively crowd, good music, and delicious food. I highly recommend checking it out.

Looking for pizza during our stay in Adelaide and couldn’t believe what lay behind the door of this unobtrusive facade in a quiet back street. The place was alive with people, music , mood lighting and a really great vibe ! Everything was amazing food, service and atmosphere. Probably our most surprisingly good dining experience of the whole visit. Highly recommended.
