Menu
On this website, you will find the complete menu of Stax from Adelaide. Currently, there are 6 dishes and drinks available.
Stax at 400 King William Street seems to be a hit or miss when it comes to customer reviews. While some customers found the food to be a disappointing rip off, with poorly toasted bagels and lackluster fillings, others had a positive experience with delicious Banh Mi rolls, friendly staff, and excellent coffee. It appears that Stax may cater more towards busy office workers looking for a quick and convenient lunch option. With mixed reviews, Stax may be worth a try for those looking for a convenient spot with a varied lunch menu at good prices.

beautiful staff and excellent coffee. the lunch menu is varied and everything has chosen deliciously and freshly prepared. it is very busy taking away but many tables to sit and toilets that is a bonus. good prices too. highly recommended. View all feedback.

So here's the story. The other day we went to a Banh Mi place and got two beautiful rolls, one stuffed full of lemongrass chicken and salads and the other with meatball, two cold drinks from the fridge and a big bag of prawn chips for just under $16 all up. Today went here to Stax. Two bagels, a Bunderburg drink and a bottle of water. The bagels were poorly toasted and as for the fillings we could have done as well at Subway. And all this for $32. Seriously?
Biggest rip off!! Worst roll I've ever eaten. Paid $9.70 for a bread roll, teaspoon of sauerkraut & a slice of pastrami that tasted really old & disgusting.. won't be going back that's for sure.
I work as a courier with the advantage of visiting a wide range of food places and the disadvantage of being in a hurry. Today I made the mistake of visiting Stax at 400 King William Street. The bagel wasn't toasted properly, with barely any filling, bland subway style bulk sauce, and a bottle of water for $15! Must be a place for office workers without the time to walk further for lunch.
One Star is even way too complimentary!! How ON EARTH is this sandwich worth $13.00? two slices of underwhelming deli ham and some coleslaw on toasted wholemeal. After my last sandwich from there (bought because I was desperately hungry with little time) was pretty bad, I decided surely, they cannot be serious and serve up another deplorable sandwich. But I was wrong. in desperation I gave them another chance and wow! Never again! I've seen better sandwiches in a kid's lunchbox that have been left uneaten for a week in a school bag! Do better Stax.
