Star House offers a range of classic Chinese dishes. -The food was delicious and the portions were generous. -The service was attentive and friendly. -Overall, we had a great dining experience and would definitely recommend Star House to others.

There are always a few restaurants in town that you intend to try, but for some reason they don't seem to be very popular.

We came for a family Yum Cha lunch on a Sunday and the restaurant was very crowded. The dumplings were delicious, but the service was not great - it was very hard to get a drink.

How much can you eat before you explode! We went for the Yum cha brunch with Chinese friends. The volume of food is huge ( of course you pay for that) and the flavours were genrally very good. I was surprised that so much of the food was deep fried, I would have expected more steamed food. The pork balls and the mango pudding were both excellent. Service was a bit over the top, with new courses arriving faster than one could have reasonably expected. We arrived at 10 am, I suggest waiting until about 11 or a little later, as a wider range of food becomes available as the morning progresses. Sitting inside near the exit from the kitchen would also seem to be useful. We went away feeling very full.

Average yum cha and dinner. But their seafood CNY (Chinese New Year) banquet is very good. Had the similar banquet over the years and I must say it is probably the best in Adelaide.
