$13 for average bowl of chips and fancy mayo. Only had a maximum of 5 chips before I took this photo to give you an idea of the serving. This was from the “causal seating” area not the fenced off more fancier area where you pay more for less than average sandwiches (from what I saw). This has to be the most ridiculous price vs serving size I’ve ever seen only reason I didn’t complain in person was because I wanted to keep our enjoyment of the magnificent Chihully exhibition going. It’s stupid money, average service and crappy food. What a shame for a previously well priced lovely outing. Charming location, but lackluster service. Takes a long time to get a coffee, and generally grumpy staff. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Just paid $8.50 for the smallest piece of carrot cake I’ve ever been served. It’s quite literally no bigger than a 1/4 of a standard muffin! The customer service was sub-par, no greeting upon arrival at the counter, the young woman just stared at me until I had decided what to order from the menu displayed on the counter. I won’t be rushing back to come here it’s a shame because I used to visit this kiosk often before it was renovated. The outdoor dining area at this restaurant is charming and offers a surprisingly diverse menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the sophistication of the food, as I had expected typical kiosk fare. The tea and coffee were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the toasted sandwich. My friend ordered hot chips, which looked and smelled amazing. The menu also offers a variety of main meal options. The presence of friendly ducks adds to the pleasant atmosphere, making it a great spot for families, especially because it is located near a duck pond where kids can enjoy watching the ducks.

This restaurant is located in a charming location next to a duck pond within the stunning Botanic gardens. The seating options include an open air undercover area as well as outdoor settings with sun umbrellas and plenty of shade from surrounding trees. The food selection may be limited but it is of good quality and reasonably priced, and the coffee is delicious. There are a few gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options available, which are appropriate in proportion to the overall menu selection.
