Food: Bangers and Shnit. The schnitzel isn't one of the best I've had, though it was cooked through right. The mash was barely warm and the salad was probably dressed a while ago, it was a little limp. Middle of the road. Food came out quick. Service: order from counter, serviced to table. Nice enough people. :-) Ambience: pretty busy and noisy inside. Tv in restaurant. Verdict: it's busy so obviously has a lot of fans. There's some interesting schnitzel combos on the menu, but I'd prefer to go somewhere the schnitzel made better.
Went there for a quick meal after flying in from Melbourne. Luckily hit happy hour. Pints of HB only 6 Bucks. Got a table straight away but after 30 minutes there was queue to order food and drinks. Have to go to counter to order and maybe table service would be welcomed. Anyway ordered the pork Schnitzel with classic gravy. 2 generous pieces with a good salad and great chips. Could do with a "more Beer hall" decor and dress. Would recommend it for a quick big meal and Beer.
I've seen mixed reviews about this place but my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our chicken parmigiana's. The only let down was the dining room was freezing and the chips weren't hot. Nonetheless I'd come back... not a bad feed!
I ordered the chicken schnitzel 'soprano' and found it to be thick, moist, and not overly breaded. The meal was enjoyable overall, although I would have preferred more chips than salad. The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, so it took some time to place our orders. Surprisingly, our food arrived quickly despite the busyness. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed during the lunch rush, but the kitchen managed to keep up with the demand.
