What Ronny Wintheiser likes about Peppers Hotel - Lounge 55:
Very authentic Malaysian cuisine. Char Koay Teow was very good with plenty of 'wok hey '. Also tried curry laksa, prawn Mee and Hor Fun. Very good. Friendly staff. View all feedback. What Jamal Casper doesn't like about Peppers Hotel - Lounge 55:
I would not go out of my way to visit this one again. It is not really set up for people travelling on their own for business or pleasure. Had a Chiefs special penne pasta dish but I would have sworn it was re heated in a microwave before serving. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant at Peppers Waymouth Hotel, known as Straits Cafe, offers a mix of experiences according to diners. Some found the food and service to be average, with one even feeling that their dish may have been reheated. Others raved about the authentic Malaysian cuisine, with particular praise for dishes like Char Koay Teow and the friendly staff. The menu is varied, portions are just right, and the service strikes a balance between attentive and non-intrusive. Prices are on the higher side, but expected for a city hotel restaurant. Overall, the restaurant seems to cater well to both business and casual diners, and those staying at the Rendezvous Hotel may find it to be a particularly satisfying dining option.
