Very authentic Malaysian cuisine. Char Koay Teow was very good with plenty of 'wok hey '. Also tried curry laksa, prawn Mee and Hor Fun. Very good. Friendly staff. View all feedback.
What Jamal Casper doesn't like about Peppers Hotel - Lounge 55:
I would not go out of my way to visit this one again. It is not really set up for people travelling on their own for business or pleasure. Had a Chiefs special penne pasta dish but I would have sworn it was re heated in a microwave before serving. View all feedback.

My aunt took me for lunch at the restaurant inside Peppers Waymouth Hotel and it seems to be called Straits Cafe. One of the odd things I've found in Adelaide that doesn't apply to many cities is that the restaurants inside the hotels are not expensive and they're quite good. This one is very good and I enjoyed it very much as did my aunt. The food was great and the service also. I would recommend this place for lunch to anyone, either business or casual. Enjoy!
Very attentive service and the meal was delicious. The skewered king prawns with mango was a hit and the mini macarons were sensational.
Good variety in the menu, portions just the right size, attentive but not overwhelming service, and a delightful sense of humour on the part of restaurant staff.
