Located on Union Street in the East End, Mr Goodbar offers a cool and moody atmosphere with a pedigree run by some of the country's best bar magicians. The bar boasts a fantastic fit out, with two levels of a heritage-listed building providing a spacious and funky ambiance. Was Deanna Bins at Mr Goodbar a mag?
Mr Goodbar is class all the way - from the greeting at the front door, to the greeting upstairs, to the table service. Great selection of spirits. Good food menu. Fantastic fit out. View all feedback.
What Anneli Väljas dislikes about Mr Goodbar:
quirky bar is located directly on the round street. usually old school music from and early rather decent cocktails also plays! more beautiful hook with your friends! View all feedback.
Split over two levels of a heritage-listed building – with some very beautiful old worldy windows looking down on Ebenezer Place to prove it – Mr Goodbar has pedigree, run by some of the country’s best bar magicians.<br/ <br/ This Adelaide bar also has a moody atmosphere, taking inspiration from the Deep South of America. They do an impressive espresso martini (not that I normally like my coffee in martini form). And, on the weekends, there’s a DJ in the house. Although, when we were here, we were convinced we could do better, and commandeered the decks, plugging in our iPhones. Mr von DJ didn’t agree when a Spotify ad came on. Whoops! Yep, we’ll just go back to drinking our espresso martinis.
We visited Mr. Goodbar on a Friday evening for some pre dinner drinks and snacks. Enter on Union Street and up the stairs, Mr. Goodbar's fit out is very cool booths, neon signs, cool music and a large cocktail list are all cool. <br/ On arrival, our service was quite good. We were offered a seat where we liked. A spot at the window overlooking Ebenezer Place was great. <br/ <br/ Between two people, we shared the picked vegetables and crab cakes. We were disappointed with these and wouldn't recommend them. Moreover, we were given one set of disposable cutlery which was inappropriate, and without side plates, sharing was difficult.<br/ However, the drinks list is quite good. There's a good offer of craft beers, small batch SA wineries and selection of spirits.<br/ <br/ I would return for pre or after dinner drinks, and would recommend others to also check it out. Just be careful of the food.
Impressive cocktail list at reasonable prices. Awesome venue with great music and kind staff. The Raspberry Bramble was my favourite.
Shout out to the Double Ds and my bean. Everybody pleaseeee come (to Mr Goodbar). Mr Goodbar has the most incredible baked bean tequila especially when you add some salt and tabasco so hot, so salty. a match made in heaven.
