Was Anonym at Mimasu a mag?
we were served promptly. The menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from, including sushi, sashimi, noodles, and tempura. The food was fresh and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Overall, a great dining experience at this Japanese restaurant.
What Ceasar Hessel dislikes about Mimasu:
This place looks extremely attractive from the outside ... When you go in the menu also looks promising. Unfortunately that's where it stops. Visited this joint about 4 months ago on a Friday night and the restaurant was half empty at 730pm. We wanted to order 6 small dishes to share and was told that 3/6 dishes we wanted were sold out.. sold out at 730 on a Friday night. We then tried to order other dishes and were... View all feedback.
Saw the restaurant on the passing along King William street, and decided to check it out with a bunch of friends. Mimasu is what I will call Japanese fusion done well. Really liked their nibbles (Lotus root chips free!!, and mini prawns), and their capaccios were done pretty nicely. Their sashimi platter is the highlight for me, particularly their wasabi is not the horseradish filled type that we get in Australia. The desserts are a slight let down. Go for their savoury dishes, maybe skip the dessert.
Mimasu is my go to restaurant. Beautiful staff and beautiful food. The staff cater to your every need and can answer all questions in regards to food and drink. <br/ <br/ If I could give them 10 stars I would! <br/ Truly a hidden gem in adelaide
I really enjoyed the place. The karaage chicken is tasty and very filling. Great value.I loved the beef and kangaroo carpaccios and the belly tuna is delicious and too good to share. Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu. Every single dish.
First time here, but won't be the last. Excellent food and great prices. The dishes may be a little light on in quantity, but not on flavour. The goyza were great.
Can't fault this little gem amazing food, great service and reasonably priced. Our new favourite Japanese restaurant! Octopus, fried chicken, beef tartare, sashimi, chocolate mousse... Just try it all, you won't be disappointed! Many thanks ????
