I took a detour off Rundle Mall and ended up at Larry and Ladd's having a coffee it was that time of the morning ! A shout out to who ever was choosing the music in the café. Think Biggie era classics, and some favourites I haven't heard in a long time. In keeping it brief, the coffee was excellent and I'd rate it as some of the best in this town. Larry and Ladd is also in a spectacular arcade, by itself well worth a look.
Awesome music, fantastic coffee and the best cheese toasties in Adelaide! Stumbled on this gem in Regent Arcade and will come back next trip.
Found this place by accident and have to admit the coffee is incredible here. The layout and look of the place is really cool and although the breakfast menu is limited to toasties and pastries they make a damn good toastie. Staff were very friendly.
We two had a regular sized flat white here one recent morning. We were surprised at our experience as the weight of reviews here suggested excellence in the cup that we were unable to locate. 1. Music is far too loud and made sitting inside uncomfortable. 2. Coffee served too cool. So it was well and truly cold if sipping to the bottom of the cup. 3. Coffee weaker than we both prefer. But OK. 4. A slight sourness to the milk that we do not prefer. Nothing wrong with the milk it’s a Market Lane type of coffee and we don’t choose that flavour. No toilets, we were directed to nearest public toilets in shopping mall 500 metres away. Clearly a quirk in SA regulations. Staff are very friendly. At $4 a flatcwhite price is good.
