I have been here for three years and I am always impressed by the quality of the service. but the menu is very limited, and it has changed in the time I was there not significantly. ergo, in the last two years, I had the same three main meals to choose each time. the last time I left, it was a bit disappointing to see the same options again. we are also jam packed in as sardines, therefore my assessment in atmosphere... Everything was really good, better than expected after having high assumptions from the reviews we saw before coming to Herringbone. Generous servings and high quality unique flavours. I also found a really nice grenache I like and will buy because of this place. This is an ideal place for a couples dinner or a first date. I absolutely adore the scallop and barramundi dishes at this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
The food at this restaurant is top-notch! The dishes are expertly presented and bursting with delicious flavors. The decor is lovely, and they were very accommodating of my daughter's gluten-free diet. There is ample street parking available. The service was outstanding, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend the Raddichio Salad, Lemon Tart, Fish, and Barramundi. Prices range from A$60 to A$80 per person.

Michael is a professional waiter of the best kind who knows the menu well. Top of our list of favourites. Dined at this great restaurant for my 65th birthday celebration on 20 April, after noting the excellent reviews. It certainly lived up to the high standards of its reputation, with superb service and a very tasty menu. All meals are generally designed to share. The hummus and the chicken liver parfait were my favourites, both small plates but suitable for two. We ordered all three mains, which ended up too much food for 5 people. Gnocchi was the best, but all great. Hint Unless you are a very big eater, order individual serves rather than the full menu option, with a maximum 1 small plate and one main per couple. It will be plenty, they are very generous servings. Best to go with a party of four or more, because you then can enjoy multiple dishes.
Been wanting to dine at this place for ages and I finally did! And it didn't fail to disappoint. Amazing food, staff and ambience. Our favourite was definitely the Pumpkin hummus, an unexpected yet delicious twist to the original version. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing! The service was great, the food was fantastic, the drinks were great. We spent an average for $85 per person with drinks and we were all so full! Probably would avoid the feed me option if you can as that’s $70 alone for food. But either way definitely worth the money!
The menu is superb. Restrained, not pretentious, no ego, not 5000 choices, just good, wholesome, quality food. While I am a fussy gnocchi eater (I think my gnocchi is the best), I had to admit that the porcini mushroom gnocchi was so beautifully executed, cooked to perfection with a great balance of flavours. The lamb was delicious, again, no weird, over-the-top excessive ingredients, just classy, tasty food. The hummus was stunning, I over-dosed on the focaccia and the salmon’s flavours bounced around in my mouth with delight. Our waiter was so nice – big shout-out to him (sorry didn’t ask his name), and the food arrived on time – in a really nice restaurant setting. I can’t find anywhere who your chefs are, but THANK YOU for your skill. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I loved how I wasn’t served a wanky-ego on a plate. So wholesome, so tasty. I've had friends visit at all times of the year, and it seems they are consistently excellent.

We had dinner here on Wednesday night and were very impressed. Service was exceptional with the waitress who talked us through the menu and paired a nice wine to go with the decisions we had made. Sitting was in a half outdoor area with a tree growing in the middle of the room, which was quite unique. The freshly baked Focaccia was very delicious with the other small plates we ordered. The scallops are a must! Large modern food in a large modern environment.
Had a great birthday dinner in this first class restaurant. Scott our waiter was super, very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. He explained the dishes and helped us share a nice choice together. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and tasteful. All ingredients mixed together excellently. And the house made bread so moorish. Absolutely a delightful culinary experience. I want to come back.
One of the best places in Adelaide city to eat. The menu is inappropriate. Wine is good. Everything about this place is elegant. We got feed option and it costs 80$ PP. Food is delicious and customer service is beyond expectations. Lemon tart is one of the best I had. Nice place to visit. And you have to prebook the place.
Really loved this place, everything was great. The staff was relaxed and knowledgeable. Eat, incredible. Had the scalop, very tasty, slightly smoky pepper flavors with the butter really went well, the dish had to lick after clean. The shrimp and watermelon combo was so delicate and fresh, with the pan roasted gnocchi bowl, probably the best gnocchi I had. The favorite dish was the scallop. Will be back to have the chicken next time with desert, skipped desert as we were satisfied (full). Thank you Herringbone!
This restaurant encourages sharing plates ... what a great idea! We can tell the chef's have put thoughts in matching ingredients with plenty of herbs and spices, each bite is a new experience. Enjoyed thoroughly, including both desserts.

A Friday dinner with the youngs. I was shown on our table, but I was not happy with him, so no problems, another table was found that this was the rest of the day. the personal has bent backwards to please us. excellent eating from the kitchen, supported by a very reasonable wine list. not happy with the two byo bottles per table, but these are the rules were quickly forgotten. a very pleasant afternoon, we will be back, I am sure.
Eating was excellent, great wine list and very friendly service. the fit is cozy and welcoming. I can't expect to eat there again soon
