However, I was disappointed with the steak as it was very chewy and difficult to swallow. The lemon sorbet was also too sour for my liking, and the service was a bit slow.

But that being said, the retro jazzy atmosphere, ambiance and service were exceptional. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines and spirits, and they went out of their way to cater to our dietary requirements and refill our glasses whenever nearing empty. We also tried some of their desserts which were amazing. Yes this is a pricy place, but I would return for the atmosphere and service alone. With a sophisticated 1940s feel and servers in bowties, this is the kind of place where you'd want to be dressed to the nines. Real classy, real elegant! I'll definitely be returning for dinner!
