What Delpha White dislikes about Curry Chong:
It's good to eat here if your family has different preferences of food to eat at that time. Most stalls meet the quality of good street food. The only negatives are the unpleasant toilet (even with the recent upgrades) the plate collection area and dish wash area which is quite smelly, and unfortunately you have to pass through it going to the toilets. That's my favorite stable in food, but to be fair, I find it hard to try each one of the others because I love the curry here so much. the curries are delicious, but not overwhelming. perfect for a quick lunch. I love the side of the plastered veggies that cut and contrast the curry. the service is fast and efficient, provided that there is actually someone when they arrive! the green chicken curry and the lamb are both spot on!
Friday night in the Central Markets is not quite the same without walking through the food court. There are so many different choices in each stall. I like the chicken and cashew from the first shop on the right. I also like the pack your own plate and share with my daughter. It is value for money and worth checking out.
This place is bustling at lunchtime and opens for dinner later in the week. Good for a quick lunch with friends or a cheap dinner on the weekend. Around 15-20 stalls of various Asian cuisines serve ready cooked or made to order foods. Very popular with families, students and office workers. And right next door to Adelaide Central Market so you can eat after shopping for fresh produce.
