Description

Cos in Adelaide has been a long-standing favorite for quality steaks, but recent visits have been met with mixed experiences. The 'feed me' menu offers a variety of dishes, with highlights like the ham croquettes and espresso brulee. However, long wait times and subpar service have left some patrons dissatisfied. On the other hand, a trust-the-chef four-course meal with wine pairing received rave reviews for its amazing food and top-notch service, despite uncomfortable chairs. Under new management, the restaurant has seen vast improvements and is now a go-to spot for delicious food and excellent service. With a beautiful ambiance, a mind-blowing wine list, and impeccably cooked dishes, Cos is a must-visit for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Adelaide.

Best steak I've had in a while, without the addition of lots of flavouring, just nice simple perfectly cook steak. Large selection of wine. Service was also top notch. 100% would come back.

Cos used to be the 'go to' place in Adelaide for a good steak. I hadn't been here in a while so decided to visit it again last week. We had the 'feed me' menu which consists of 4 courses. The starters were duck pate and ham croquettes.. the pate was good but ratio of pate to crackers was disappointing.. the ham croquettes were a delight. For mains we had the steak, braised chicken and ling poached fish. Both the steak and chicken were good.. fish was below average as it was too bland. We finished off the meal with a cheese platter and an espresso brulee which was yummylicious!! Unfortunately the whole experience took 4.5 hours... Service was so slow! Reasonable food but bad service especially for the amount you pay.

First time here, was such a special night. The best steak in Adelaide, those polenta chips incredible, and fantastic wine selection too. Staff were friendly and helpful without going too far over the top. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food was excellent, prepared with honest and unpretentious cooking. The wine list was impressive and reasonably priced. Service was attentive and came with a touch of wit!

Had a memorable meal with a large group of friends last weekend. We were looked after perfectly by the crew at Cos. Food, drinks and service were just fantastic. Thanks for a great night.
