Enjoyed delicious tapas and great wine for a very modest price in this great eatery in Adelaide Central Markets. Excellent. Will try to go back to try the Paella before we leave Adelaide. View all feedback.
What Micheal Schimmel dislikes about Comida:
Stopped in for a market breakfast and decided to give Comida catering Co a go. I have often walked past and seen the huge paella cooking and the food always looks good. We went for the brekkie roll which had egg, chorizo, manchego and chutney on a beautiful crusty roll. Mmmmmm. The coffee was also excellent. View all feedback.
Absolutely delicious quick dinner tonight. My partner and I had the paella after it being recommended by a friend. Will definitely be back. The Barcelona Pale Ales also went down a treat. Staff were pleasant as well.
Comida Catering Co. is a perfect showcase for the Adelaide Central Market, serving freshly made tapas and paella from quality ingredients at street food prices. This time we shared chicken and almond empanadillas, fried Kingfish balls, potato bravas and potato and onion tortilla. All were delicious and wouldn't be out of place in a top restaurant. Only a few weeks ago the tapas menu was different, so visit often! Next time we are ordering the anchovies.
I would have taken a photo of the paella but it was gone in about three spoonsfull because that's all it was. Great food, just not enough of it! Servings are waaay to small for $16.50. I wasn't expecting an entire paellera but wasn't expecting just a few spoonsfull either. If you're hungry, you're gonna need more than one serve!
Plenty of carpark spaces. There's lift, stairs and escalator to go down to ground level. Many vegetables and fruits stalls here and they all look so fresh indeed. There's butcher, stalls that sells chocolates, cheese and dairy products, seafood stall. There is also a stall that sells turkish delight as well. A number of eateries to choose from if you ever get hungry. I saw a lot of meet up with friends and relatives in the market probably because it's the start of weekend.
