Service was mediocre, not sure who's working and who's avoiding customers... When we got our food, presentation and flavour was a match. Great wholesome, super food on my plate. Yummy halloumi grilled cheese on my smashed avocado rye toast, though the poached eggs were slightly over cooked . But overall a good experience
What a lovely cafe! Such a relaxing and yet totally classy atmosphere. Classical music played in the background which was unusual but worked for me. Incredibly friendly staff with decent knowledge of menu and takeaway food option ingredients. I have food allergies, so I really appreciate healthy vegan options and knowledgable conscientious staff. Coffylosophy has both!
I did not try the food and I won't any time soon. The staff are insufferably rude. For people who are presumably passionate about their product, you would think they may wish to engage with their clientele about their product instead of responding to a request for milk with a simple "no". I also wanted to give the barista an extra dollar to go and buy himself a smile. Places like mothers milk at unley or coffee branch on leigh street do a similar boutique coffee product but appear to actually want the business and therefore competently do their job. You would do well to pick any of these places over this snotty, pretentious hole in the wall.
Had an absolutely delightful fritter breakfast here, albeit after a 40 minute wait for my food. It was a very busy morning though with every table being taken, the dish was entirely made-to-order so if you've got the time it's worth a visit. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: A good selection of distinct vegetarian dishes that weren't just a minor adaptation of other menu options.
