What Brutal Brutalski likes about Chinatown Cafe:
Great place for lunch. UnlicensedUsually very busyCan`t beat the Hainanese Chicken with greens for lunch.Excellent value, spice it up to your own taste with the light or dark chili.Quick service.Recommended. View all feedback. What Philippe Bilodeau doesn't like about Chinatown Cafe:
I love the food and I would give a 5 star rating but the older lady who works there deserves a 0 star rating, so I'm conflicted. She's always yelling at her young staff in front of customers. She won't let you eat there if you're only getting steamed greens and rice (I'm a vegetarian and this is my preferred meal). It's really off putting seeing how badly her staff are treated. read more$10 for Hainanese chicken rice (remember to order specifically with Laksa broth) is an absolute bargain and fantastically fresh and delicious. An institution.
This popular restaurant in Adelaide Chinatown offers a wide variety of delicious, affordable Asian dishes that keep customers coming back week after week. While some have expressed concerns about the staff's treatment and customer service, the quality and value of the food seem to overshadow these issues for many diners. Favorites include the Laksa, Malaysian Chicken Curry, and Singapore Noodles, along with the quick and efficient service that ensures tables turn over quickly. The vegetarian options are also praised, with the Laksa being particularly popular for its abundance of greens and vegan-friendly ingredients. Overall, this eatery seems to attract a loyal following for its tasty food and budget-friendly prices, making it a go-to spot for many in the area.
